According to data from the 2025 International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting, the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of intellectual property is showing explosive growth. More than 60% of the world's leading enterprises have adopted AI monitoring systems for infringement early warning, among which image recognition technology based on deep learning has increased the accuracy of infringement identification on e-commerce platforms to 92%. Under this trend, the cross-border rights protection strategies of Chinese companies have also changed significantly, with regional cooperation cases under the RCEP framework increasing by 40% compared with last year, especially in the Southeast Asian market, where the success rate of cross-border law enforcement cases through blockchain solidification has reached 78%.

The CANTOOP expert team found that the current industry is undergoing three changes: first, the focus of rights protection has shifted from a single trademark protection to a three-dimensional defense system of "trademark-patent-copyright", and a new energy vehicle company has shortened the processing cycle of its core technology infringement disputes by 35% through a three-in-one protection strategy; Second, the evidence collection method is innovative, and the global infringement evidence chain system based on cloud computing can realize real-time data synchronization of 12 nodes in New York, Singapore, Istanbul, etc.; Third, the rights protection service model has been upgraded, from the traditional post-event relief to the whole process management of "monitoring-early warning-disposal", and after a luxury goods group adopted this model, the timeliness for removing counterfeit products from the shelves around the world was increased to within 48 hours.

It is worth noting that metaverse-related intellectual property disputes have increased exponentially. In the first quarter of 2025, the number of virtual goods infringement cases has tripled compared to the same period last year, of which digital art copyright disputes accounted for more than 45%. The "virtual sneaker design plagiarism case" recently handled by CANTOOP's New York team has become an industry benchmark case for the first time to determine ownership through NFT on-chain timestamps. At the same time, the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act requires generative AI training data to complete intellectual property compliance reviews, a trend that will reshape the industry ecology.

In the face of the new situation, CANTOOP relies on the localized service network of 12 branches around the world to provide customized intellectual property solutions for multinational enterprises. In the future, with the deepening of the construction of the Digital Silk Road, Chinese enterprises will need more intellectual property partners with both international vision and technical capabilities, which is not only a challenge, but also a new mission given to professional service institutions by the times.
