[Corporate Pulse ] CANTOOP's senior management went to Cambodia to meet to jointly build a new line of defense for intellectual property protection

2025-07-29

Recently, Mr. Yuan Dade, President of CANTOOP IP Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Li Minjie, Director of International Department, were invited to visit the Ministry of the Interior of Cambodia and hold high-level talks with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the leadership of the National Anti-Counterfeiting Commission (ACC) of Cambodia. This trip is not only a high-level official exchange, but also injects strong momentum into cross-border cooperation between China and Cambodia in the field of intellectual property.

Join hands to tackle new challenges of cross-border counterfeiting

In this high-level dialogue, the two sides carried out pragmatic exchanges on the current cross-border infringement issues in the region, focusing on three key issues:

· Crack down on cross-border infringements: explore a stronger joint law enforcement mechanism to accurately crack down on counterfeit and shoddy industry chains;

· Optimize the collaboration mechanism: improve the timeliness of case handling and the efficiency of cross-departmental collaboration, and establish a smoother cooperation path;

· Strengthen brand rights protection: Build more operational protection plans and implementation support for international brands in Cambodia.

The Cambodian representative fully affirmed the professional ability and combat experience of CANTOOP in intellectual property protection practice, and expressed a strong desire to use China's experience to accelerate the construction of Cambodia's local law enforcement mechanism.

High-level consensus releases the acceleration of cooperation

The greatest significance of this meeting is that it clarifies the three consensuses of "common response, mechanism first, and cooperation implementation". The concealment and stubbornness of cross-border counterfeiting have become a systemic challenge for regional brand protection, and it is difficult for any party to solve it alone. Only by taking the initiative to promote multi-dimensional cooperation between governments, law enforcement and enterprises can we truly build a "firewall" for brand protection.

From "Commitment" to "Action": The International Layout Practice of CANTOOP

As an intellectual property service organization that is deeply involved in China and connects the world, CANTOOP has always regarded "local deep cultivation" and "global collaboration" as the twin engines of development. President Yuan Dade personally led a team to Cambodia, which is a key landing of our long-term internationalization strategy.

We believe that the security of brand value should not stop at national borders; Actions to combat infringement should not be limited by institutional differences.

In the future, CANTOOP will continue to take practical actions to build a "bridge" between brands and law enforcement in more countries, provide strong support for global brand rights holders, and jointly protect a fairer, more transparent and credible market environment.
