Police–Enterprise Collaboration Strengthens Brand Protection | ZWILLING Visits Jinzhou Public Security Bureau for Forum and Appreciation
2026-03-13On March 10, 2026, Li Zi, Vice President of CANTOOP, and Yuan Xi, Director of Business Expansion, together with Xu, Administration Director of ZWILLING, visited the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau to attend a symposium and express their appreciation.

The visit aimed to acknowledge the bureau’s strong support in brand protection efforts, further strengthen the police–enterprise collaboration mechanism, pay tribute to frontline law enforcement officers, and explore future cooperation in intellectual property protection.
In early February 2026, under the direction of the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department and led by the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau, a large-scale enforcement operation was carried out against multiple long-standing criminal networks involved in counterfeiting the ZWILLING brand in Northeast China. The criminal groups procured semi-finished products and transported them to Northeast China, where counterfeit trademarks were applied using marking equipment before the products were sold through livestreaming and various e-commerce platforms.
These groups operated with a high degree of organization, with clearly defined roles across production, sales, warehousing, logistics, marketing, and packaging. Their distribution channels spanned online stores, livestreaming platforms, private-domain traffic, offline retail outlets, and wholesale networks. Such activities caused significant damage to ZWILLING’s brand reputation and severely disrupted market order.

With strong support from the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau, the operation achieved significant results. More than 10 infringement-related locations and entities—including online stores, livestreaming accounts, offline shops, warehouses, and production sites—were dismantled. Law enforcement officers conducted cross-regional operations spanning three provinces and five cities, resulting in the arrest of more than 20 criminal suspects, all of whom were placed under criminal coercive measures in accordance with the law.More than 100,000 counterfeit products were seized at the scene, with the total case value estimated at nearly RMB 100 million.
This case represents the largest trademark infringement case solved by the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau in recent years, highlighting the bureau’s strong enforcement capabilities and operational efficiency.During the symposium, Xu, Administration Director of ZWILLING, expressed sincere appreciation to the law enforcement authorities in Liaoning Province and presented a commemorative silk banner in recognition of their outstanding efforts.

Following the operation, all identified infringing online accounts and livestreaming channels voluntarily ceased operations, effectively improving the market environment and creating a strong deterrent effect against further infringement activities in Northeast China.
Representatives of the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau noted that the city’s specialized unit for food, drug, and environmental safety investigations has established a strong reputation nationwide. The bureau reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening support for brand protection, improving the efficiency of handling complaints and reports, and maintaining close communication with CANTOOP and ZWILLING to build a coordinated and robust enforcement framework.
CANTOOP and ZWILLING jointly expressed their intention to further deepen cooperation with the Jinzhou Public Security Bureau. By working closely together, the parties aim to intensify efforts against intellectual property infringement, safeguard fair market order, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of brand owners.
